If the transfer width significantly greater than the lattice constant all the open channels are propagated.

In these Examples the relative velocity spread is constant, appr. 5%:

1. Lattice constant a=5.18 a.u. is less than transfer width

2. Lattice constant a=10 a.u. is appr. equal to transfer width

3. Lattice constant a=13 a.u. is greater than transfer width

The transfer width a typical size on the solid surface from which the TEAS can be provided information.
